this heater uses thin radially oriented looped wires heating elements, not the small grid typically used in ceramic heaters. the size of this heater is therefore larger with larger diameter fan. heat output feels less than two other 1500w ceramic heaters that I bought recently from Amazon. if you are looking for heater with small rectangular cells as heating element, this is the wrong one. I don’t know why manufacturer says this is ceramic heater but the heating element looks like bare metal wires.
