Update: One of the company founders reached out to me after I posted this review, and promptly sent out the promised pitcher along with a bonus little knife sharpener. Everyone’s human, and people make mistakes. What stood out to me is how the company handled this situation. I am very impressed with Zulay customer service and will definitely be a repeat customer!!

I got this frother and initially loved it. I was really excited when the box included a flyer that said If I wrote a review on amazon and emailed them, I would get a free frothing pitcher. I have been wanting a pitcher so I was excited!!! I wrote a nice (5 star!) review- However it never came. If I hadn’t been promised a free product I would not be complaining. The frother works fine it gets the job done. But I will not recommend or purchase from here again because of thia experience. It makes me wonder if the other reviews are legit.

This Milk Frother will froth milk very well. But it won’t spin/turn in something thick like honey, but remember It’s not designed to do that. It won’t froth heavy whipping cream into whipped-cream, it’s not designed to do that. It is for liquids with the consistency of milk. It does just fine mixing a package of taco mix with 2/3 cup of water, and things like mixing powdered creamer and sweetener in a cup of coffee. If all you want to do with the Matcha, is mix in a tablespoon of it with a cup of hot water, no problems. “kitchen cabinets” How much foam will it produce?.. Let’s answer that in a minute.
If something will froth depends on the properties of the liquid. Milk froths/foams very easily. At dairies, when transferring milk into a 50 foot tall silo, the milk line into the silo is directed at the side wall of the silo. The milk clings and runs down the side of the silo and gently pools at the bottom. If however, you just had the pipe pointing to the bottom of the silo, you would have s silo full of foam and a big mess kitchen cabinets
Before any device will “foam/froth” something, that “something” has to be capable of being frothed. For example, this machine is not going to froth water, because water doesn’t froth. Let’s do an experiment. Put about an inch of water in a drink shaker, and shake it for about a minute. No foam/froth. Shake it all day if you have to, but it won’t foam. Now, lets do the same thing with milk. Put an inch of milk in the shaker, and shake for a about a minute. At a minimum you should be able to get 3 inches of foam/froth. kitchen cabinets Note: For me, skim milk works better (gets more volume) than whole milk.
Ok, back to the shaker test. Let’s try Matcha. Did it foam like the milk? Are you only going to use about a tablespoon with a cup of hot water? That’s our answer.
And, that’s the answer for anyone asking if this machine will foam/froth any liquid.
